We’re excited to welcome David Walbolt to Unfold Architecture as a Project Architect. With a lifelong passion for home design—one that started with rearranging his childhood bedroom—David brings both technical expertise and a deep appreciation for the details that make spaces feel just right.

A graduate of North Dakota State University with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Architecture, David began his career working on large-scale multi-family projects before transitioning to custom residential design. His experience spans from high-rise penthouses to finely crafted homes, giving him a unique perspective on design, scale, and construction.

Beyond the studio, you might find David biking the Minneapolis trails, paddling through the Boundary Waters, or renovating his 1920s home. You can reach him at david@unfoldarchitecture.com, but don’t be surprised if he’s out gathering inspiration in the great outdoors.
